They can add personality and emotion to the most mundane email. They can make text messages fun and memorable. They can even drive up engagement for a social media post.

You can also click on the smiley face emoji that’s immediately under your Sender ID drop-down menu when composing an SMS in Burst. Here’s a guide.

Keep in mind that emojis use Unicode encoding, and they’re bigger than regular characters. As soon as you add an emoji, your SMS switches to support Unicode. Instead of getting 160 characters per SMS, you now get 70 characters, so your message needs to be brief unless you don’t mind going over.
